Joseph’s Well System works by using the proven scientific principle of Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) through condensation — the same natural process that forms morning dew or the way a dehumidifier collects water.
Step-by-Step Process:
Air Intake: A fan draws in ambient (surrounding) humid air from the environment into the system.
Cooling & Condensation: The incoming air passes over cooled coils or surfaces (similar to those in a refrigerator, air conditioner, or dehumidifier). These coils are chilled using a compressor, Peltier modules, or basic refrigeration components. When the air cools below its dew point, the water vapor in it condenses into liquid droplets.
Water Collection: The condensed water droplets drip down into a clean collection tank or reservoir.
Filtration & Purification: The collected water is then passed through filters (as guided in the program) to remove any dust, impurities, or potential contaminants, and may be remineralized for better taste and health. The system includes instructions for this stage to make the water safe for drinking and cooking.
The entire build uses common, affordable parts (often scavenged from old dehumidifiers, mini-fridges, or hardware store items) and can run on household electricity or off-grid with a small solar panel and battery. Output varies significantly based on local humidity (best in areas above 50% relative humidity), temperature, and build quality. It is a DIY instructional program (videos, blueprints, and guides), not a ready-made machine.
